Are you stupid or something? The books have and will always be a part of the official warcraft story, touching on subjects the warcraft games didn’t cover and with most if not all loose ends being tied up in World of Warcraft.

I don’t consider books and comics as part of the “official” warcraft story, because they’re really not. The Warcraft franchise has always been a series of story driven games. All I know is at the end of WC3 TFT Arthas and Ner’zhul were bound as one, and in pre-Wrath Naxxramas, it was the same. Few people may have beaten Naxxramas before it was converted into a level 80 raid, but when you killed KT the Arthas/Ner’zhul Lich King spoke at the end and you could hear both Arthas and Ner’zhul’s voice.
