In World of Warcraft, you create your alter ego by choosing from a variety of colorful races and powerful classes, and then you begin exploring, questing, and battling in Azeroth. World of Warcraft came after Warcraft III, another fun role playing computer game. The game is a perfect depiction of the term fantasy, the landscapes are beautiful, the characters and animals are not of this world, and the structures are massive.

There is nothing quite like it anywhere else although many others have tried. They haven’t failed, but they can’t exactly live up to the standards set by the World of Warcraft.

World of Warcraft is a fantasy game where players can take on the guise of different characters in the world known to all as Azeroth, the place where World of Warcraft is set.

After countless hours spent playing, the great first impression does not wear off. This style of gaming is notorious for being a time sink and for effectively forcing players to engage in repetitive, monotonous gameplay for hours on end in order to make progress. But in contrast, World of Warcraft will keep throwing variety at you, and the combat system at the heart of it features fast, visceral, action-packed battles that are fun and intense, whether you are fighting alone or in a group. Furthermore, World of Warcraft finally achieves that long-sought-after goal of many massively multiplayer games, which is to make the player feel rewarded regardless of how much time he or she invests in a single sitting.

If you’re a gaming addict then this game is one of the better MMORPG’s which you should try if you get the chance to. It’s not a free game and to play it you will have to pay for it.

All this would be nothing, however, if it wasn’t for the online play. There is the fun of playing with friends and banding together to accomplish epic feats of heroism, and the thrill of smack-talking opponents who dare challenge your guild’s dominance. Human opponents tend to be much more exciting than robotically-controlled computer players; for the luddites reading this, would you rather play poker or cribbage against a computer or against real people that you know? Therein lies the appeal of World of Warcraft.

In World of Warcraft you never run out of things to do since much of the game is structured around questing. Whenever you enter a major new location for the first time, you will feel almost overwhelmed by the number of quests available, which you will be able to clearly spot since quest-giving characters helpfully stand there with a big, noticeable exclamation mark over their heads. Luckily, the game’s more-than-a-thousand quests are made quite manageable by only being offered to you when you are qualified to complete them, and you can have no more than 20 quests pending at a time. World of Warcraft (Also known as WoW) is a massive multiplayer online role-playing game, (RPG)

World of Warcraft was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and was released on November 23, 2004

WoW has a monthly fee, and players must also have an internet connection to play.

Players of Wow play online against thousands of other players, creating and playing characters such as Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Goblins, Humans, Ogres, Orcs, Trolls and many other different characters can be played.

Players can explore a massive world with miles of hot dry deserts, flush green forests, beautiful snow covered mountains, and other strange lands.

Players can also visit large cities and explore through dozens of dark scary dungeons on their own or as a group with other players, there is always safety in numbers…

Players also get to name and train their characters in to anything they want.. Become a Warrior, Mage, Priest, Rogue, or Warlock, select to be good or evil it is solely up to the player what they eventually want their characters role to become.

When you first start playing World of Warcraft, you start out in an area that is related to the race of the character you selected to play. All the character races except gnomes and trolls start in a unique location, Gnomes and trolls have to share starting location with the orcs and dwarves, Once you have finished watching a short in-game cut scene introducing your character race, you are then set loose upon the world.

You will need to train your character well because you will find yourself up against all kinds of powerful creatures and monsters, plus other players will kill you with out even giving it a second thought. Therefore, beware and train hard.

You will also want to collect as much gold as you can so you can purchase better armor and weapons for your character.

Furthermore, try and join a guild or team-up with other players if you can from the start, you will find many players that are willing to take you under their wing and protect you from monsters and other players while you learn how to play the game.

When not playing World of Warcraft you will want to visit some forums and community websites run by players for players this will greatly help you learn how to get a hang of the game even faster.

Finally, once you have mastered World of Warcraft you can then start lending a helping hand to other newbies doing so will keep the spirit of the game alive for many years to come and make it grow even larger than it is today.
