In World of Warcraft, you create your alter ego by choosing from a variety of colorful races and powerful classes, and then you begin exploring, questing, and battling in Azeroth. World of Warcraft came after Warcraft III, another fun role playing computer game. The game is a perfect depiction of the term fantasy, the landscapes are beautiful, the characters and animals are not of this world, and the structures are massive.

There is nothing quite like it anywhere else although many others have tried. They haven’t failed, but they can’t exactly live up to the standards set by the World of Warcraft.

World of Warcraft is a fantasy game where players can take on the guise of different characters in the world known to all as Azeroth, the place where World of Warcraft is set.

After countless hours spent playing, the great first impression does not wear off. This style of gaming is notorious for being a time sink and for effectively forcing players to engage in repetitive, monotonous gameplay for hours on end in order to make progress. But in contrast, World of Warcraft will keep throwing variety at you, and the combat system at the heart of it features fast, visceral, action-packed battles that are fun and intense, whether you are fighting alone or in a group. Furthermore, World of Warcraft finally achieves that long-sought-after goal of many massively multiplayer games, which is to make the player feel rewarded regardless of how much time he or she invests in a single sitting.

Therein lies the appeal of World of Warcraft.

In World of Warcraft you never run out of things to do since much of the game is structured around questing. Whenever you enter a major new location for the first time, you will feel almost overwhelmed by the number of quests available, which you will be able to clearly spot since quest-giving characters helpfully stand there with a big, noticeable exclamation mark over their heads. Luckily, the game’s more-than-a-thousand quests are made quite manageable by only being offered to you when you are qualified to complete them, and you can have no more than 20 quests pending at a time. What is good about playing a warrior in world of warcraft? There are a fair few world of warcraft guides around, but all of them seem to be focuses on PvP and the info there seems to be a bit too terse and technical. Instead what we shall concentrate on is what it is to be playing a warrior either in a group or alone, without all that jargon.

You will always be warned against playing a warrior in WoW because are so gear dependent. This is actually great news because the warrior’s range of gear is far superior to any other class. The only weapons they can’t use are wands and relics, and they are the only class, apart from Paladins, that can plate up once hitting level 45 . Wearing plate not only makes your character look fantastic but it adds to their awesome armor and power.

Their major role in group is as a tank. This is a term used to describe their capacity of dealing and taking a lot of damage much the same as a real tank in batte can do. They are the main artillery of the group defending other members as they too give out damage without aggro which the warriors absorbs so that the group can more easily dispense of their foes.

The warrior talents and abilities are split into trees. Depending on the talent tree chosen you can specialize your warrior as either an:

Arms warriors choose this ability to have a large range of abilities in offensive and utility talents. Two handed weapons are best suited to this tree spec which are exponentially increased with warrior spells like “Mortal Strike” which further increase combat damage.

Fury Warrior: this is the spec that is preferred by warriors looking to power level fast in world of warcraft. They too specialize in two handed weapon combat and have fantastic talents like “Flurry” where they can win or turn a fight with one single move. Fury warriors are also often referred as Rogues with plate armor such is their similarity when inflicting weapon damage and speed of fighting.

Protection Warrior – Very good warrior specialization for both offensive and defensive combat, often useful in group/raiding/instance runs. This is because these warriors are much more likely to last longer in combat as they rely on shields and sword mastery specifically. This is often the choice of warrior if you want to specialize as a Tank.

As you go through the game you will be able to sample each of these trees abilities to see what suits you best and decide where the fate of your warrior lies when it reaches level 70. Whatever style you choose you will find playing a warrior the most exciting and rewarding class in the game whether you play in a group or alone.
